So when do Portsmouth get their 10pt deduction ?

    Now that the supporters trust have the green light to 'buy' the club - anyone know when the points deduction is made?

    They'll probably get offered to take it now, or at the beginning of next Season. That's usually what happens I think.

    Usual procedure at this stage is that the penalty is suspended for now. If they avoid relegation then they're deducted 10 points this season (which might make them get relegated), if they get relegated anyway then it rolls over to next season.

    I don't know what they'd do if the bottom 4 clubs in the Championship all applied for administration now though.
