I am going for the 3 wingers starting as I think Laudrup will be thinking the front 4 being completely fluid will run rings around Bradford, as they have against WBA & QPR

I am also going for Monk to start as even though he stuggles at times in the Prem he is an old pro when it comes to playing lower level opposition (no disrespect to Bradford) so will have years of experience to call upon, plus wont hesitate to put his body on the line if needed.

    Tremmel
    Ash
    Monk
    Rangel
    Davies
    Britton
    Ki
    Hernandez
    Routledge
    Dyer
    Michu

Bartley for Monk because I'm concerned about the set piece which Bradford will definitely look to exploit. I wonder about keeping Dyer back purely because, if the game is still tight after 60 minutes, an injection of pace and energy might take advantage of some tired Northern legs.

Bartley or Monk is a tricky one, as pros and cons for using either, I still think Monk's experience wins it though as we have Ki and Michu who can help defend against set pieces.

We also have Lamah if we need an injection of pace later in the game

    This it for me.
    Tremmel
    Rangel
    Ash
    Bartley
    KI/ britton
    De Guzman
    Dyer
    Hernandez
    Routledge
    Michu.

Has to be Bartley. Monk for me although experienced, has lost his pace, he cant jump either and Bradford will be pumping the balls into the box. I also think Bartley is more physical, Which will be needed.

The big question for me is Briton, Ki and De Guzman. Have to start De guzman as he has been superb of late and offers a bit more going forward. Then it is between Ki or Briton. I am not saying this is right but i think he will go for ki. Just a guess on that though.

Whatever team we put out I hope they will be pumped up and ready to sweat blood for every second of the game after that disgrace against Liverpool. They demonstrated exactly how to treat a "lesser" team (apologies to Bradford) and we should be looking to do the same.

Michael Laudrup has already marked the player's cards by saying today that to win the League Cup would be the biggest achievement in his career. Think about what this guy has done and won in the game and then digest exactly what he means. After the unmitigated embarrassment that was heaped on his head by that shower last Sunday, I think he will be mentally scarred for life if we lose at Wembley and his love affair with Swansea City will come to an abrupt end. Much more than a cup at stake here, folks, make no mistake!!

I think that the team selection last week shows that we won't be making the same mistake that Wigan, Arsenal and Villa made in taking Bradford lightly. We had a ridiculously weakened side out to play a Liverpool side that are starting to improve in the last couple of weeks, which tells me that we'll see our strongest 11 start on Sunday.
What our strongest 11 is I don't know, that's up for debate, but I do think we'll be starting with Routledge, Hernandez and Dyer to try and get the early advantage.
Sir Mike ****ed up last week. I can't see that happening again...EVER!! :D

This is my team as well but I would put Bartley in for Monk because of his presence at set pieces which will be Bradford City's main threat I think

Tremmel Not only because he's played the previous games but also adds a little bit more height.
    Ash
Bartley Again his height with Ash along side him I think we'll see a bit more composure
    Rangel
    Davies
    Britton
    De Guzman
    Hernandez
    Routledge
    Dyer
    Mich

Pace for me and the movement off the ball creating space should be the order of the day

Last Sundays result could (?) have been a blessing in disguise as now there will be players out there Sunday with a point to prove ,lets hope so anyway.

    Tremmel
    Ash
    Bartley
    Rangel
    Davies
    Britton
    Ki
    Routledge
    Dyer
    De Guzman
    Michu

I'm leaving Hernandez on the bench cos not only is he still to convince me of his potential, I think he's too lightweight for the Bradford maulers. I'm hoping he can then come on and prove he can make an impact in a game.

I think if De Guzman doesn't start - then we may have seen the last of him - don't think ML was impressed with the prima donna stroll around the park last Sunday so Stid'steam for me too.

This for me is the best lineup, though I'd like to play our Left back, Ben Davies too!........................<laugh>

If the 3 wingers start I think he will play Britton and Ki over De Guzman.

In the QPR game Britton was out injured so Ki and De Guzman played, in the WBA game he played Britton and Ki and we did look alot more dangerous in that game - Dont forget WBA were 4th and flying when we played them too.

I dont want to see Michu up front on his own, I want him just in front of the midfield and behind the lone striker where he is best suited. Monk every time as captain who will do a better job than ash and has the experience second to none. Bartley on the bench who can replace any of the back four should he need to....this is our game to lose so no experimenting with the unknown against a side that will park the bus and hope for a penalty shoot out that has seen them go through on two occasions this season.....Play the side that is our strongest and more experienced and we should have no problem winning the cup...

Dyer on to replace either Ki or De Guzman for the last 20 minutes when hopefully Bradford will be on their knees

I'd go with the above too. A well balanced team, and Dyer can come on to change to the effective 3 wingers system if needed.

A man after my own heart :wink::wink::wink::wink:

But I think there is more chance of ...

    GT
    Tiendalli Monk Ash Ben
    Rangel JdG Leon Ki Hernandez
    Michu

Nathan, Routs (both on after 60 OMG) Bartley, Vorm, Moore, Lamah, Tate.

I have feeling ML may go for attack from the back and play Rangel and Tiendalli down the right and Ben + Hernandez on the left.
