With nick gone what next for the mighty tigers? OLM, have you been informed by anyone at the club who we might be interested in? I wonder how long before we make a move for our next manager? I presume the one of our own song will be retired next season unless we give it to cooper an then possibly go back to shouting the managers name to "give us a wave" when we're 3 up. UTT
Next - we get a new manager. Hopefully someone will be lined up already. Clock is ticking down to the new season
hes the last manager id want, if the allams give him cash to spend, prob give mcshane and kilbane 5 year extensions, sign sonko, altidore, get ghilas back and caleb folan haha
Sounds good to me. It really makes you wonder why nick would gob off if there was going to be funds available? Unless he was just stupid and thought he was proving a point but I haven't got a clue. As long as we don't go back to brown as I know he has experience in getting promotion but so does dowie and I wouldn't wish him on a Leeds fan... Ok maybe I would
To be honest, if it wasn't for his astronomical wages, I'd have Ghilas back for a Championship campaign. He just finished as the joint French Ligue 2 top scorer and can play anywhere across a front 3 (which i snow irrelevent given NB's sacking). As for our Jozy, he scored 15 goals in the Erdevise this season. But yeah, they can't score goals so **** 'em.
spend whatever money possible to bring in the VERY BEST manager available to us. 1) spend the money leicester gave us for NP's contract. 2) spend the january transfer money available to NB for players 3) give the new manager a healthy transfer budget and REALLY push for promotion.
I know you're only joking but in all fairness it seems as though Brown was told to name targets. Duffen was in charge of wages, clauses and fees. Oh, and if it weren't for the wages and fee required for Altidore, I doubt there's anyone on here who wouldn't want him here Absolutely. I'm not at all convinced it'd go well, but I would love him back.
For Ehab Allam To publically state that the club now starts to look for a new manager before Nick's appeal has been heard is leaving the Allams wide open. The club is in chaos and being run by madmen. The thought of people like Phil Brown and Gary Megson even being mentioned also beggars belief.
Generally you have to give somebody a chance to find out , he was inexperienced and learning all the time
How anybody can judge a first-time manager chucked into somebody elses squad in the middle of the season I don't know, he should have been given next season at least and some would say he did OK last season given circumstances
