Firstly Congrats to the Os - played well and kept up the spirit of the Cup.

Secondly how many times does AW play a team poorly structured for the challenge, and still not learn from repeated problems ?
Where was Song meant to operate? In front of the back 4 or a raiding midfielder? Was Bendtner (another dreadful game) playing wide right or given freedom to cover the whole pitch? Was Denilson (another poor game) out there because AW refuses to play others? I suppose he sent Almunia out thinking he would not be tested -well he was from the off, dropping a shot but recovering, only to be nutmegged in the last 2 mins doing his rendition of the splits.
Thirdly what a great debut for Miguel- the future looks bright for the lad.
Fourthly loss of form continues for Chamakh, and Arshavin trying hard but not really delivering.
Fifth in conclusion I have to keep banging on about selling Bendtner, Denilson and Almunia - I can't accept that they are worthy of the shirt.

Had Arshavin's shot gone in off the post, this discussion wouldn't even be happening. too many fans are quick to jump on our team when results do go how we expect, but tbh we didn't do a lot wrong yesterday and Orient deserve credit for getting an equaliser.

Don't agree - My last point is still valid and has been for months (years?). I have been reading on boards Gunners fans still saying Bendtner was ok or better.
I'm just speechless - he was dreadful.

Can't agree with that. Bendtner has scored some important goals already this season. Who would cover for Song at DM if we sold Denilson? and with Fabianski injured, who would cover Szczesny if Almunia was sold?

He didn't have a good game yesterday, but he's done enough to convince me that he can be effective at Arsenal

Squillaci made a great stop with his face <laugh>

Miquel looked good - calm and assured on the ball, proper footballer. <ok>

Squilaci made one big blunder back pass, apart from that quite well.

Miquel is fantastic on the ball. Lost a bit of positional sense at times (Ran up the wing!) but it was a great debut.

I can't stand anyone who cusses Denilson.

Bergkamp a Dutch Master needs to change his name... Arshavin IS delivering. Who made the cross to Ros? And just to reiterate, I hate anyone cussing Denilson <ok> I also thought it went under Almunia's body rather than nutmegging him?

    Smiffy.
why should I change my name?

I like Arshavin he does the unpredictable - but he is off form. Well a player makes a total guess of a cross which results in a goal and he becomes a hero , eh?
and is forgiven for wasting 12 other possessions? Denilson - so cus me - he's poor.
Maybe you are right about Almunia - but he still did the splits BEFORE the ball was kicked.

    Because you're a negative ninny.

He's been playing out of position, tracking back and coming on leaps and bounds.

    He's brilliant...

Psssh, we shall just agree to disagree, but I'm right. Oh, and what about Song yesterday?! Surely he gave away more than anyone regardless of where he was playing?

Oh, and you'll never, ever see me say we should get rid of someone. Ever.

Once they've left they're fair game though.
