With the possibility and lets face it likelyhood(knowing the FA) of Suarez being suspended for 6 or more games later in the season, surely the club must be now looking for another striker!! I think we need one anyway but without suarez we could be in big trouble unless big andy steps up to the plate soon(IMO not this season). I believe we need to buy a top class striker to show are intensions not to just to the rest of the PL but also the players in our team and let them know its time to step it up a gear.
There's no doubt about that, only question is, who? In January prices get really silly and options get very limited. So we're going to have to make do or spend big.. 1. suarez if banned will be banned before january. 2. we need one anyway as dirk is gash. anyway you cut the cake we should be looking at this area actively but suarez' situation ought to be done and dusted including any suspension (<6 games) before we can do anything
If he does get suspended for a significant number of games, you can stick an extra 10 mill on anyone we highlight as they know we're in a fix, just like they did when we signed Carroll.
true but if his hearing is when it reputedly is and you put 6 games we are in christmas, maybe fa cup 3rd round max... if we buy a forward it'll be to play with suarez not to cover him.

would be nice to have him back for the newcastle game! although i think Carroll might be up for that one after what they have said about him recently.
in the end if we have gerrard back (sometime next two weeks?) and bellamy and carroll those fixtures are not scary. I expect a 3 not a 6 match ban though so lets see.... first you are right i am assuming the "trial" will be speedy as is the players right but he does have time to make his application for a personal hearing then you've got the timing for the appeals if they happen. Its not like rooney who has no pressing time for his appeal. he got heard within a week. Suarez has taken a month to get charged which is not speedy and not right so i fully expect the process to be more speedy from here.
I dont believe Im sayin this, but I think it would be the right move for the club "short term" If Suarez was banned, I think Tevez would be a good move on loan for a few months
It would give us a chance to show that we can cope without him aswell, We need to learn not to be over reliant on him
Henry would be perfect, he can find the net in any league at any age, I dont know what sort of wages he'd want though
We have Yank owners, i'm sure they'll cut some sort of deal for Henry... I'd love Henry for Liverpool. It would make the game on Mar. 3rd pretty immense
