Laughed at a comment made in that article down the bottom... "At least Sunderland fans can look forward to Mark Hughes now, who'll no doubt reinvest all of that Darren Bent money in Roque Santa Cruz."
This was posted last night. It's not good reading. However, being old school is okay by me to be honest, as too many managers over complicate football imo but you have to have results to support you. The second they falter, then questions are raised about the other things. Bruce has been sacked not solely on his tactics and strategy but through the results being simply dreadful because of them. If we were 7th or 8th, not lost the derby game (this is not all about the draw games mind) and had beaten Fulham and Wigan, Bruce would still be our manager. Of that Iam in no doubt.
Interesting stuff. But our problem is we fall apart too easily and, that, from an "old school" coach is simply not acceptable.
