I decided to go Palace before the Swansea game hoping that we might have got some points from them and maybe a point at Southampton, it looks like the manager and most of the team have given up which in turn has turned the fans into pessimists. Leicester fans were up for their recent games like rabid dogs, they look like they are going to pull them to safety, most of our fans have given up, not surprising given the dross tactics by the manager and the lack of effort by a lot of the team. This season is turning out worse than Brownys and unfortunately our last few home games will be infested with tourists who won't vocally support City, so unless we win at Palace I fear we are ****ed.
My real concern about this game is Bruce's frame of mind and tactics. I haven't seen anything recently that convinces me that trying not to lose the game is working for us. SO i'm leaning towards "going for it" but if we go for it and lose 3/4-1 , Bruce will be under pressure about it so I'm expecting 532, with players out of position and ****ing Aluko/Diame/ Hernandez on their own up top. I would try -------------Mcgregor rosie-Chester-Dawson-Robertson ---Livermore- Huddlestone- Elmo------Diame----------Quinn ----------------N'Doye-
We have been awful this season, from the capitulation in Europe to the shocking last 5 minutes at West Brom in the League cup, we really have struggled to find any form this year, Bruce has ****ed us up with his tinkering of the team, Allam has ****ed up the support with his Hull Tigers ****. Last year we beat the scousers, nearly beat the mancs and got to the final, we have not had a sniff at an upset this season, it's been horrible, I've said before, there's no joy being in the Prem when you lose as many as we have. If Bruce grows a pair and goes all out **** or bust we could win at Palace, he has to do this, but he won't, he's a busted flush, would have been sacked but for last season, however if we go down there's probably no one better to get us back up, then sack him.
I think managers deserve loyalty for their success. He got us here against the odds and he has a right to see the job out. If we end up worse off than when he joined that's the time to sack him. I think he's done an absolutely **** job this season from start to finish, but his first two years outweigh it overall.
Ok I will give you Arsenal away when we should have won, Liverpool was a good point and Man City was another, but no wins, no shocks, only very poor results against the teams round us.
But you list "last year we nearly beat the mancs", as in, we lost narrowly, as a shock. Therefore, surely, nearly beating Arsenal & The Man Hunters but not losing should also be counted as a shock.
If you like but there has been no progression this season at all, we are much worse than last, then we had optimism up til extra time in the cup final then Arsenal scored, my optimism this season went on my birthday on the 28th august when we couldn't be bothered to try and hammer Lokeren when most teams could have. And the pathetic excuse that the Premier league came first so we went out of Europe to gain a point against Stoke, ****ing whoopy doo
Good formation, and similar to the one in this article, good read about what is needed: http://www.the93rdminute.co.uk/fans...-get-hull-city-the-points-needed-for-survival
If only AA had made this game free travel and cheap tickets imo we would have had a big following to get behind the team . I dont think he cares if we stay up or not , it seems that way.....Tiss bloody stupid imo. If we go down with out a fight on saturday i will Blame AA.
Disagree Mr Happy. I think a loud vocal support can lift a team. We might have had a different result at leicester without it
Can't imagine him wanting to throw away £100million + which it's reported that each Prem team will get from the TV cash cow!
