I appreciate we are three games in-the football played is so much better than last season and the season before.Anybody that was at the home game against Blackpool and went to Reading can see what NP is creating.
Those players were giving there all at Reading.

However a weak point was R/B -Reading were getting nothing out off Desilva but they were out of Simpson.

Chris Martin who has been fantastic can never keep those performances up for a whole season-would love him to mind-he need another guy to split the shift -Rotherhams striker scored Tuesday night big rumours he is the man NP wants.

For me a R/B and striker is all we require.

Reckon Wells and Nagy should be sold-personally don't want to lose Kalas.

Certainly can see what NP is drilling into his team, looking good and you can see he is looking for perfection from the team.

    Signs of a good manager.

We also need width, Pring did well against reading but isn’t the answer, as for ODowda , well that’s another story haha

I hope we have the basics of what could be a decent squad in time but there seem to still be real shortfalls in key areas.

Like you I worry as to how long Chris Martin will last, and I remain very unconvinced that Wells is a player we need at all, although I'm glad Kalas has been recalled and Palmer is getting game time.
If Nige can get money for Nagy and Wells and bring in a couple of better replacements then it might be happier days to come. We're a million miles from the likes of West Brom and Fulham, but that was to be expected, at least for this season.

Too early to say if we’re better than last season yet. We won our opening 4 games last season and everything was rosy. Then it all fell apart, so hopefully the experience of Pearson will stop that happening this season. He took over when we were in free fall, so not a lot he could do then to be fair, but the signs are good and there does seem progress. As long as we do not have the injury list of the last 2 years, last year in particular we should be ok. In terms of experience at this level the squad is very thin on the ground, any long term injuries to Wells, Martin, King and James and we would be up $hit creek without a paddle, as the depth then is just kids..

I agree we need a RB and striker - probably the RB is more urgent out of the 2

I wouldn't get rid of Wells without getting a replacement

If Pring can replicate the same as he did at Reading on a regular basis he may we'll be the answer.
With DaSilva I thought they complimented each other and provided a great balance left side both defensively and going forward.
