the guy's been out for ages... cut him some slack.. I think he is possibly was a strong player on his day. But unfortunately, he is the past imo... his performances are too inconsistent.
I remember him being the guy who scored 14 goals in a season for Wolves. I'm not sure who the imposter we signed from Stoke was though.
I've always been a fan of Olly, I think that he could be a decent player for us. He can also score a fair few goals from midfield which helps.
I have always said that Oilyvagina is, at best, an average Championship player and was one of the worst signings we ever made (pound for pound).
He is a decent player, but I'd be disappointed if he left because he is a great guy! He also could provide cover?
He had a relegation clause, apparently he's on £18k now, unbelievably, our highest paid player is now Kamel Ghilas.
thats the correct point to make at the moment....^^^^^^^^^^ this. Oli can do a good job off the bench especially when City need to close out games. Great foil / replacement for Mckenna. If Nick rates him thats good enough for me. Oli also brings what City lack at the moment. Height in both boxes and for set plays. Welcome back Oli but i think you may have to wait until Crawley Town @ home for your first starting game.
and to think that there are still so called fans who lament the passing of Messrs. Bartlett - Duffer and Brown. Those 3 should be hung - drawn and quartered for what they did in the transfer market during there reign.
Regarding Oli, I'm more than happy to leave it to NB to decide whether it's just a lack of match sharpness or that his legs have gone, let's face it he knows more than ANY of us!
The first 10 minutes or so he was really rusty. He looked like a guy from the crowd. Thought he improved though. Especially once Evans came on to fix the midfield.
