Didn't see that coming. To be honest, I think Croatia lost it more than we won it (I know that doesn't really make sense!) They clearly had the wrong attitude and couldn't raise their game. I think MacGregor only had one save of note to make in the entire match. Anyway, typical Scotland. Get pumped at home to Wales then hump the world's 4th best team in the their own backyard. Hopefully it's the start of something good.
Most frustrating part of it is that it's too late for this campaign. Wasn't sure if strachan was the right person but he'd organised the team well and managed to get them to try and retain possesion.
They looked much more of a team, a few other players back and we'll be a handful for everyone. We're never going to be world beaters but we should at least compete for the top places in the groups.
I watched it. Had to put up with huffy weans who wanted to watch some singing contest on t'other side. It was ****ing magic.

Seriously, Scotland are ****e and only won through a jammy goal and because Croatia thought they only had to turn up to win. As usual though, the *****'s in the press and stands are ****ing themselves into oblivion as they put up with decent results even though the performance was woeful. No wonder we've been in the mire for 20 years. For such a football-daft country, we really need to educate the masses to stop the suicidal footballing culture which lauds good results over performance. We are ****e, we are ****e at everything apart from running around and sweating. We need to rely on Englishmen not being good enough for England to bail us out. #ochayethenoo

As much as I share your elation, I think he was at the bam up and that's why hardly anyone responded. There was a point in the game with about half an hour left when I was waiting for the centre halves to drop deep as **** and for us to panic when we had the ball...it didn't happen - the midfield remained composed as **** when we had the ball second half and it was gratifying as **** to see.
No I was being serious, as normal Scotland were ****e, no ifs or buts about it. Croatia prepared for this game as if they were playing San Marino Ladies in the Adriatic Sea Cup and their complacent attitude led to them getting beat with the aid of the ****test goal in history. As usual though, results are all that matters to the short-sighted media and the fanboys in the stands who lap it up. We're not as bad as our lowly position suggests at present, but we're not half as good as the *****s are making out. GBTP
