Hunt didn't even get a thread made for him on here!!

So what do we all think? Happy?

What does this mean for other strikers such as Varney? Do you see him playing a part next season?

Do we think Poleon will be more involved next season too?

Of the current squad who would mark out as our 4 main strikers?

For me Varney is done now.

I would also get rid of Diouf as McCormack and Hunt are playmaking strikers who don't score many but help the tea and I guess Diouf also falls into that category.

Could then get a goal scoring striker and we would have a good mix of forwards especially with big Matt Smith's Ariel presence.

Poleon will be pushing for a place on the bench and his pace could cause problems especially when defenders are tired.

We've got a good selection now - McCormack likes to drop deep and create, Hunt will run the channels, Smith is an obvious target man, Poleon has real pace. Don't see Varney here next year and not sure I class Diouf as a striker. Maybe one more striker would be nice, a proper finisher - someone to replace Somma, really.

Hearing rumours of a bid for Mackay-Steven from Dundee United to play out wide - now he's someone who could really create the chances for our strikers <ok>

What strikers - you've loaned out your only goalscorer - Hunt and Smith wont get 10 between them!!

Our only goalscorer to get two against the only decent team in south London last season?

Our only goalscorer who managed a whole 3 goals for us and was outscored by our full back <doh>

You better hope he comes good for you, I'd be worried by the fearsome partnership of Easter and Keogh <laugh>

What a toothless attack Millwall have. I fancy them and Blackpool to go down this year :)

At least played as a striker McCormack can score goals and Smith will give us something we've missed for a while - an ariel threat. I believe Hunt will be good for McCormack this season - that and his Scotland snub as he has a point to prove.

You're taking for granted that you'll keep McCormack <doh>

You're taking for granted that Morison's still a goalscorer <yikes>

Very happy with the Hunt signing <ok>

I think the reason behind no thread was due to it being known for a few weeks and discussed everywhere

What Leeds player will score more than Morison next season? I'll let you chose from your whole 1st team squad <ok>

I'd imagine McCormack will outscore him <ok>

Although that said, if Morison keeps up his prolific form of last season, there's always a danger he might outscore Paddy Kenny <laugh>

McCormack will stay at Leeds unless McD wants him to go, which I doubt. He won't go to Blackpool that much I know - can you imagine Ross playing on that beach they call a football pitch...

Leeds have really made a statement this week - we are no longer the soft touch that we were. McD was asked about Palace bidding £3 million for Byram to which he responded "which boot is that for".

Looks like we don't need to sell (just trim the fat) and we have brought in some good players. Cautiously optimistic for the new season already :)

I think the question should be - who won't out score him from the Leeds first team squad??

We already have 1 for McCormack so I'm going to say Smith. At 6'2" he will win his fair share of headers.
