I see in today's BBC gossip, that Allen has signed for Liverpool. Also rumoured they may be after Tom Ince as a replacement.
Have to say, don' think Swansea have done bad out of all this. They signed Michu for £3 Million who is easily worth around the £10 mill mark, and they sold Joe Allen for £15 mill which is probably at least £5 mill more than his valuation. Personally I think Michu is the better player as well. Although Allen is 4 years younger. Also I know Michu is more a replacement for Sigurdsson but miney wise Swansea have done pretty well and will have the funds to replace Allen without a doubt.
Yeah, look forward to seeing him fail. Its not just jumping ship at the first opportunity after a very successful season, its the constant talking about their players. Its so disrespectful to the fans, especially after saying he wouldn't do it. The guys a walking contradiction. I hope the Swans do well this coming season, for they have been truly football raped.
Joe Allan, victor Moses and Scott Sinclair are player's that if they move on are seriously screwing there careers up! How on earth would Sinclair and Moses get in the man city and Chelsea team respectively. Players never learn. When you see the valuations and fees banded about nowadays it makes you wonder how much pilks, howson etc are worth, or more interestingly how much would another team be prepared to offer us considering were the so called "little old norwich"...
Another question to ask about Rodgers is that can he ever buy a player he hasn't managed before. Borini, Allen and also he is also after De Vries. Who is next for Liverpool, Sinclair or Dyer?
Absolutely, SOOOOO many players seem more interested in seeing how much they can earn, rather than staying at a lesser club and continuiing to play football as opposed to sitting on the bench. I'm predicting a much better season for Pilks and both Bennetts. Also, it will be interesting to see how Snodgrass performs for us -I've a feeling he'll do well too. carrarbuh - Agree re Borini and will give Liverpool options for who takes free kicks in future.
