So Long Ebu

Discussion in 'Arsenal' started by Robin van Bergkamp, Aug 16, 2011.

  1. It's been nice having you around. I recall at some point that the fans got on your back but you came back determined to change, earned your s(t)uds and became a favourite amongst the faithful.

Wish you a good time at Gala. Come back and see us before too long. Maybe we'll have a ball. Just don't put the ball in the back of our net ;)

Mixed emotions. At times frustrating at his antics - but could be a lot of laughs. I wish you luck.

  4. Yes but he did cut out his antics over a year ago and became very much a team player again. Don't know about his aquatic skills ;)

Good luck to Eboue - he always gave his best for Arsenal. Even after he was disgracefully booed off the pitch, he still came back and proved that he was a fighter.
Personally I think he was good for the team, he made a great impact sub as he was always willing to bomb forward and take players on. He also made a decent wing back and I fear we might be a bit light in that position this season.
Anyway, he has gone and I wish him all the best.

Yes to all of this but most of all, I'll miss the laughs. He gave the side a bit of character, something that we appear to be lacking these days bar a few exceptions.

He was the guy who lifted the teams spirits with his humour and pranks. IT all looks so serious now.

What a hero. If for nothing else, he'll be remembered by everyone for this moment. A great attacking Right Back, shame he was played out of position so often. Was good cover for Sagna.

A fantastic right back, I'll miss him for sure, one of my favourite Arsenal players.

  13. It was such a shame that one of the last things he did for us was inadvertently tripping Lucas Leiva, who knew what he was doing when he stopped dead in his tracks, leaving Manue nowhere to go.

We'll remember the resurgent Emanuelle Eboue with joy and pride though <ok>
