... as anticipated... a loan signing.. not a prolific scorer but hopefully he can soften up opposing back fours to allow Gyan more space..

This will do for me lads. Go back throught the threads a few months and you'll find me, Cest & i believe Dorset saying he would be a cracking addition. He may not be prolific (as yet) but the lad has a lot of ability and self belief, and he, on paper, is a great foil for Asa. This will be ok lads, it might even be great, and i hope we have a fee to finalise on it, cos i think this might be a cracking signing.
Go hack through the threads and I said no thanks! BUT I will accept it could be the right move I'd he has the right attitude. He has something to prove which may be important and may make him a better player. Time will tell.
I think he will be an excellent addition..However, I do expect the usual suspects to look for negatives..
Agreed RAW. I know that Arsenal fans have been critical of him at times, as were Man Utd fans with O'Shea & Wes Brown, for example. Well, if you're not quite good enough for the top four and the CL ... for the level we're at, that'll do me!
Sorry - think he will be a flop. But glad we did not sign either of the lanky c u n t s we were linked with Bart
I am happy as larry with this signing and I suspected a few days ago that this would be our striker signing and posted as much. this lad may not be prolific but he will prove to be a handful in the box and will muck in with a few goals, Talksport reporting tonight that the Gyan transfer request is a load of bollocks and apparntly the lad is upset at the suggestion he submitted one, can anyone add any further ?
It's been an underwhelming end to the tranfer window but at least we dodged spending a bucket of cash on Crouch... and at one point people were getting ready to believe Gyan was leaving!!! So it could have been better but it could have been a LOT worse.
well talksport said he was using twitter to say it was crap, but looks like he has deleted his tweets http://twitter.com/#!/asamoah_gyan
