Just had a late night text from a mate. His folks are ill, so their Citeh season tickets are going begging for tomorrow. My wife's from Southampton and actually follows them, so it wasn't a difficult decision. I'll be off to the Etihad tomorrow rather than watching the inevitable shower of ****e against Wigan. It'll be interesting to watch a game as a neutral. I have a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I'm going to enjoy it a lot more than I do at ER though. As long as the breadknife can be persuaded not to wear her Southampton shirt in the home end. God I hate Bates and GFH. I shouldn't be thinking like this should I? EDIT: The dark thought that Citeh are now my local club hasn't yet crossed my mind. And when I say local, I mean nearest team that isn't scum...
Would rather watch a dull Leeds team getting done over than a team I have no interest in myself. At least it gives me a cause to complain if nothing else.
What would we want to do that, when we can watch the Super Whites charge the table, and nick a late play off spot. Though we might need Cellino's mates in black to help us out a little. 30 points should do it!!!
Just hope she keeps her mouth shut, took a girl to Stoke's old ground once, tickets in stoke's end, with the game a draw with a few minutes left she starts to shout come on Leeds in the middle of the Boothen end fook was I glad for the final whistle and the dirty looks I got not her.
You've been on the white Columbian power again Matt! Worry about the other end of the Championship namely staying in it as we should know!
As predicted, that was awesome. 4-1 was nowhere near the right score though. Chris Foy had a shocker, and Southampton totally outplayed Citeh for all of the first half and half of the second. My prediction was 3-1 though, and it wasn't far off. I've not seen a ref piss off both sets of fans that badly in a while. Good job I was totally neutral. I felt a bit sick when they put Rodriguez on entonox and Foy started stroking his arm. You could tell straight away it was bad. A good day out became awesome when I left the post match pub for a *** and got the Cellino news. Best Saturday in a long time.
