What changes does he need to make?

No doubt there will be calls for Watmore to be included. But for some reason only known to DA this probably wont happen.

Does Johnson get the nod again. Or has DA now seen and said enough to realise its like pissing against the wind trying to get someone who is probably emotionally all ****ed to play well?

Does Defoe go back into the strikers role?

Does he go with the very defensive pairing of Catts and M.Vila?

Im not even gonna think about that ****ing shambles of a defence. Cos it.ll probably be that useless **** Billy ****ing Jones and the even worse PV ****ing A and the other two.

I hope DA watched City in the 2nd half against West Ham. De Bruyne played deeper than he did against Sunderland and Spurs. He cut them apart with long passes. The commentator said, over and over, " How has City not scored this half."

Last night, against Olympiacos, I noticed Bellerin pressed forward and overlapped Chamberlain, this resulted in a nice cross into the box which was headed forward, and away, by the defence. The ensuing transition to attack was greeted by 5 Arsenal defenders spread perfectly across the back line. That's 5 defenders w/o the RB. Sanchez and Chamberlain, I believe, were the goal scorers, but they got back on defence all night.

Catts and M'Villa for me, with M'villa playing in front of Catts

Yedlin inplace of Jones at RB, Borini at LW, Defoe in the center and Lens RW. Borini should track back better than lens, so should cover PVA more. PVA is a the only left footed defender we have, as many problems as he has had this season, putting a RB at LB will leave the team unbalanced.

How about playing both our first team and U21s on the pitch at the same time. Hoping neither the officials or the other team notice.

That's a good shout Dan. Here's one to consider. Rodwell is two footed, so I wonder how he would get on playing at LB? PVA needs taking out of the firing line because his confidence must be shot to bits. Rodwell has played in defence earlier in his career, so he may just be the answer to the LB position and surprise us all like Colback did the first time he played there.

Win it, simple as that. Strongest side and stick catts man for man on Payet who is their best player.

Rodwell cant even play well in his natural possition.

Dont understand why i keep seeing people wanting him playing centre back and now left back, madness im my eyes.

Just keep a clean sheet, a 0-0 draw would almost be like a moral victory right now, Our defense are shot to bits, to keep a clean sheet would be gold dust going forward. Just keep West Ham out, with any luck we may nick a goal, but first things first, stop them from scoring.

I suppose it's out of desperation to try to find a solution to our defensive woes Smithy. I've never seen Rodwell play in defence, so I'm interested to see if he plays better there than in midfield.

Only last week DA stated that he has been considering Rodwell as a defender. Just another option i guess.

    As to if it happens.

West Ham have had some mighty wins on the road already this season.
I'm expecting a draw at best.

JR should be played in the u21 team as a defender, just to see how he does, until then keep him on the bench as he has been gash in mid field imo.

Those wins came with huge slices of luck but they defended what they had and even against NUFC everything fell right for them. If we can get a lead they do not scare me.
