Just a thought on how we compare now to the start of last season, when we still had hopes of a top 6 finish! Goalkeeper - Stronger, Weale & Schmichel Defence - We started with Neilson at RB so this is better! CH we only have 2 CH's & Tunch who would just be a bonus, and if the Bamba news that he wants to leave is true we are in need for at least 2/3 CHs who can also conver LB. LB we still have Bruno and maybe Messila, but surely not Ball - So signings still needed here, Mee hopefull, Mills is a pipe dream in my opinion but I would love to be proved wrong. He is the hard man we have lacked since our BNP defender left! - Urgent signings needed here! Midfield - Strong central midfield now with Danns and a full pre-season for Yuki. Our wide we need to improve if Dyer leaves as N'Guesson could also go leaving us just Moussa - 1 winger needed for me. Forwards - Pretty much Nugent for Fryatt as we started last season. But we finished the season stronger with 2 loan signings. I still think we need another forward and that 1 will leave, maybe Howard - Schlupp may get a game but I think a 6 month loan may happen for him... So I reckon we still need 5/6 players to really push for top 2. Good signings so far but not enough for aurtomatic, but we all know Sven is still looking and is like a kid in a sweet shop!!
Right this is the team that started against Crystal Palace on the opening day last season Weale Neilson Hobbs Morrison Berner N'Guessan King Oakley Dyer Fryatt Campbell And if we played tommorow i think our team would be Schmeichel Peltier Bamba St Ledger Berner King Wellens Danns Gallagher Nugent Waghorn Looking at them from last seasons team i cant see anyone who would get into the team now who isnt already in it
