8 games in the league and 3 in the cup? Lol With 8 league games remaining we find ourselves in 8th position with the magic 40 points already in the bag. We are safe with just under a quarter of the season remaining and go into Tuesdays vital FA Cup quarter final replay, still with Wembley in our sights. We have everything to play for and should finish the season with a 50+ points tally. Now, I don't know about you all but that doesn't happen very often and considering MoN only took control in December its a remarkable season already. Lets sing our hearts out on Tuesday and hope this magic roller coaster season has still got some twists and turns left for us as Sunderland fans.

I honestly believe we will do Liverpool twice, knock them out of the cup and take 7th place off them.
I think we will get 13 points from the remaining league games which would leave us on 53 points. I hope with an FA cup final in the bag too.
looking at our remaining league fixtures. (and my predictions).. Man City (A) -- 0-2 - 0points Tottenham (H) -- 1-0 - 3points Everton (A) -- 1-1 - 4points Wolves (H) -- 2-0 - 7points Villa (A) -- 2-1 - 10points Bolton (H) -- 3-1 - 13points Fulham (A) -- 0-1 - 13points Man Utd (H) -- 1-1 - 14points Personally the aim should be 55points and thats a good target the lads will really have to work hard to achieve that and we have seen how well they have done since Martin came in this is certainly achievable. 55points I would imagine would grab us 7th. As I've predicted I think we will get 14 from the remaining games. The next three games will be difficult, I would imagine we will lose at Man City but I seriously think we can get something out of the Tottenham game. Capello leaving England has been the worst thing that could happen to them with all the rumours of Harry being the next boss it seems as though they have gone off the rails abit and I think we could grab the 3points. Everton away for me will be tricky but I think we can get another draw there. After that thought we have 4games were we can pick up aload of points, I thoroughly expect us to win the two home games and MoN will certainly have the lads fired up for the trip to Villa Park. As for last day of the season would love us to nik a point and hand City the title. As for the cup the game on tuesday will be hard but I think we can win it if so it all depends how our players react playing at Wembley, will it be to much for them? Who knows I just hope we get the opertunity to find out with a win on tuesday night
