    Christiansmith replied
All we should be worrying about is just a win never mind the goal difference..If we maintain that 5 points gap, the GD won't matter. If we do not win then the GD will get worse ...in City's favour. No point worrying about it...

Just wondered if Christiansmith has changed his opinion ?

He does say "if we maintain the 5 point gap". We didn't. That mattered a hell of a lot more.

Of course he won't, he's right. If you'd have kept that five point lead nobody would care about GD... Can't see a fault with that logic...

I got slated earlier in the season for complaining when the team didn't push on and look for more goals in certain matches.

This. I'd have been much happier with two 1-0 wins against Villa and Everton rather than the 4-0 hammering and then a 4-4 draw. Goal difference be damned - if we'd won both those games we'd practically have it in the bag already.

We should kidknapp Messi and Ronaldo, then we will see how goal difference matters.
