After that you thought I was having a go at you (wrongly) and responded and I got my EireLeeds and Dublin_leeds confused. If you look again you will see what I mean. Too many irish usernames. LOL

My good lady had her 70th birthday bash and yes we had thelocal noise abatemen people down complaining about the noise as early as 9 oclock can you believe theres life in the old dog still and Mike carpets warbled until the early hours and acted as DJ as well .My son and Daughter provided a photographer actually 2 ,the food was out of this world so we had a splendid time .IIts just a pity that people in thier 40s should get a life other wise they will end up dead of boredom';enpugh of this rant from Bardsey .A friend of mine was at ER yeasterday this lad has been acssociated with Leeds in a professional capacity forf longer than me .He was at ER yesterday and he told me that the agreed price was 50m then that b.....d at the last minute said he wanted 56m so they withdrew their offer but he says they are all talking againso watch this space!
Chip - My bates out comment was releated to Eire's post. If bates was out we would have some funds to bring players in, this in turn would show us what warnock could do with depth in the squad. Take yesterdays game 3-2 up, he would have made changes to put this game to bed, but because bates = no funds = no players = no depth. urghhh What a horrible formula! BTW we have a massive fan base here, biggest outside England id say, prob even biggest outside of Leeds.
When Bates is gone, there will be plenty of time to change CDs. Until then it is important to keep up the anti-Bates sentiment. Just my opinion of course.
Hey Dub, you might have some competition - have you not noticed that there are quite a few Jocks on the board? Leeds are huge in Scotland, and it's mostly because of the number of Scottish internationalists that have played for Leeds over the years.

If people did what you suggest, we'd all forget that bates is a problem, the pressure would die down and he'd go back to screwing over the club. Your idealistic notion of just "forget the bates out stuff and get behind the team" is flawed. People don't just forget their frustrations.
