With the blues match off today, one 's focus is drawn to the Scummers and their pathetic attempt to stay in the Premiership where they clearly do not belong. Well done the Mackems, and yes, I have not forgoton you Scummers that you have a game in hand, at The Bridge!

Why do you care about Southampton so much, SB? What happens to Southampton doesn't influence one bit what happens to Portsmouth (unless we happened to be in the same league of course) and personally, I consider Portsmouth succeeding far more important than Southampton failing. Clearly you've got your priorities mixed up.
At the moment I think Pompey staying up would be an even bigger achievement than Saints staying up. Oh well. If we do go down it will be an even bigger upset when we beat them in the cup next year
I have to agree, and if you had kept your last manager maybe you would have stood a better chance of succeeding in doing just that. Not that I think you could anyway at the moment. As SP says I hope you get youselves sorted in the new year so that you can all start looking forward with hope.
Leaving aside the nonsense from the self-parody that is SB3, may I wish all Pompey posters, yes even him, a good 2013. I have to say that if Pompey stay up it will be a remarkable escape. For what it's worth, I think that Saints will stay up. I think that will only annoy one poster on here, really
Having been born in Portsmouth and brought up in Southampton I can be seen some Saturdays having very vocal arguments with myself in the corner of the pub! To Sb3 if you are as passionate in your supposed dislike of Saints in your love of Pompey then you may turn out to be a goodun - happy NewYear all and good luck to both teams in staying up !
