Not sure if you all agree, but all the press hype of the return of the wonderful Jose to Stamford Bridge has had everyone from Sky TV to the Daily Telegraph swooning on the return of the chosen one. For goodness sake, it was Hull, everyone favorite to go down, and whilst they managed a 2-0 win, it wasn't as dramatic as our 4-1 away result. So, the press couldn't have a go at our new manager, despite all the media hopes that Swansea would get at least a draw.

So whats next for the Messiah? His press conference when he returned was akin to the Sermon on the Mount, so no doubt the future holds turning water into wine, or maybe if the pies on offer at the bridge are stale, he could no doubt perform a banqueting feat with a five barley loaves and two small fish. And injuries to the Chelski team? No worries , what's a hamstring problem or a broken leg compared to Lazarus.

But keep the faith all, no matter how much the press hype up the son of Portugal, the press inn the UK have a marvelous record of building a manager up, only to knock them down. history and religion is not my strongest point, but if I recall correctly, the last messiah ended up getting crucified

weararedbonnet your threads are always about other teams, maybe change your name to wearabitterbonnetonyourbonceyounonce<ok>

Two games two results, both wins but against different teams and you create a thread about a goal difference of 1 and intentionally left out Chelsea's clean sheet.

Chelsea were by far the better performer of the two teams despite Torres and had the game won by half time.

Let me get this straight, you dismiss the comparison made, rightly stating they were against two different teams, but you then say that Chelsea performed better.

Chavs play new boys Hull only win 2-0
UTD play a quality team and win 4-1 away from home

If Chav FC were so good, why only win 2-0 at home?

    your post makes little sense

Last season United lost their first game to Everton, if United are so good, why did they lose to Everton? Everton must be a better team.

    Stop being a doughnut.

By the way, despite the hype they keep getting.....Swansea are not a quality team when you look past their forward line.

At least we are not going to have to wait long to see Manchester vs Chelsea, home advantage for the first round too. Should be a great match for the neutrals too.

    I can't wait.

United has already been written off by the pundits. Most have the Chavs as clear favourites for the title. So Moyes has nothing to lose. <ok>

United Lose? it was expected anyway. Win and we will see the pundits and the media eat their words and maybe cease their continuous rimming of Maureen...
