No, I still don't think so.

Was an excellent player before but I think he has been to much of a disruptive influence on the squad.

So who shall our new wi get be now. Not seen enough of De Ridder to judge but would prefer a proven Championship player..!

I think personally Punch has been out the door for a long time, just no1 has actually stumped up the money to take the contract! He did a Oxo and threw his toys out of his pram wanting a move, problem is Don Cortese has shown that no matter what you do I will get the money I want regardless of how many you throw so I can see him being here a little while longer yet rotting in the reserves.

From what I've seen of SdR he looks very promisin and could have a bright future with us, I'd like another winger as I don't feel Guly performs that great on the wing but I trust NC and NA to get the right men to take us forward as I'm sure you do yourself mate!

De Ridder was clearly brought in to replace Chamberlain. Guly can play wide right so I see no issue.

He always drifts too far central. I think he ball watches a lot, but he is unstoppable when hes in the box though !

I liked Puncheon as a player, but his attitude was poor. Say what you like about AOC, but he would always give 100%. Not in him to sulk.

Puncheon wouldnt get in my first choice team anyway, so he might as well move somewhere where he will get football.

Added to that he can take his attitude with him, and make Cortese some profit in the process.

Puncheon's probably upset that Arsenal didn't buy him instead of Chamberlain.

He is afterall, the best player in the world... in his massive, over inflated head

    Simples! No!

Bad attitude. He's made it plain he wants away so let him go.

Wenger could have had him on a BOGOF with Oxo for all I care

Could it not be that he was asked to play that way? <whistle>

It might be but i wouldnt of thought so because loads of people around where i was sat were constantly questioning the massive gap being left down there and Richardson having no cover. If it were against a top team, we would be punished.

No. I have a feeling a lot of clubs have got wind of the fact that he is a disruptive influence and that is resulting in a lack of bids. IF nobody comes in for him then he might finally realise he is as good as he THINKS he is and should be made to train with the reserves. He has certainly made his bed and now he needs to be prepared to lie in it...

I think i've been waiting six months expecting to hear news of Puncheon's permanent departure. Surprised he is still with us to be honest...

Puncheon's probably holding out for FC Barcelona to make a bid, he will be expecting himself to replace Messi no doubt

We could have got rid of Puncheon last season, but he miffed the Don. Bet Cortese's sorry now as we're stuck with him. Unless Nicola thinks the money's worth making Puncheon suffer. So will NC use his business brain and cut his losses or just go on torturing Punch. Difficult call!

Hope so for our sake but also for Puncheon. Perhaps some team can get him to play to his potential.

I agree in some ways he can be annoying when he does that, however especially in the leeds game and others he got unfair stick because leeds were playing 5 in midfield I.E 3 centre mids without lallana and guly both dropping inside every now and then we would of been over run in central midfield!

There is pleanty of time for someone to bid for him. Would not be surprised if Warnock comes back and offers 500,000 for him and with the greatest sale of the 21st Century in the bag; we could let him go for that sum. Appreciate we might want more - but it gets him out the door and off the pay-role; that must save (say) £4,000 aweek!

Also saves the money we pay the nanny who keeps picking up the toys he throws out of his pram.
