Pritch is good at helping us control games but his stats are piss poor. No sane fan puts him in our best Xl, the only position he can arguably challenge for is the 10 and he’s not as effective as Dack there. Would’ve been perfect playing that role last season if we had Dack as the F9 when we had no striker.

As I've said before I believe we no longer just have a first eleven that plays every game.

We need players who can come in and drop out depending on the game and other circumstances.

I keep thinking we really need a long FA Cup run to help bring on all these young lads ...

... we can't rely on going 4-0 up every game so we can get the kids involved.

The four new lads must have watched yesterday wondering wtf they've done <laugh>

Aye Pritchard has bags of talent but it doesn't tend to amount to much. I've seen the argument that he assists the assists and it's probably true but Dack will do that too, while also scoring and assisting.

Pritchard was class yesterday when he came on. Vision, workrate, link up play.

Im not saying he was poor mate, i just think Dack was more effective on Sat.

For what its worth im a big Pritch fan, and i think we are really lucky to have him at our club playing at this level. You can see he's had the ability to play at a higher level earlier on in his career, but as age and i injuries have caught up on him, i find him alot more effective coming on around the hour mark.

We are in a very strong position this season now with the strength in depth we have once everybody is fit. At the moment we're still abit short in CM and god forbid Ballard gets injured, but im feeling very optimistic.

I was at York races a few weeks ago, and sat with some lads from Blackburn. Their opinion of Dack was positive, said he's a very clever player, but you've got to keep him fit ( as he tends to slow down a bit ) and his head drops quickly if things start going wrong. What they did say was he's great with younger players, bit of a leader/mentor type who'll keep the younguns in line . Maybe thats one reason TM has brought him into our very young squad.

Dack's link up play is very good and the way he rotates with Jobe is working well. Definitely a better goal threat, which is what we need when we have to break the deadlock. Normally, when we go ahead, it opens the game up which works in our favour. Pritch brings different attributes to the table.

I think Dack on for the first hour and Pritch coming on to exploit tiring legs for the last 30 is perfect for us.

I can see Dack getting into double figures this season ...

I wonder how many Amad scored last season.

I agree and we need 4 or 5 doing that. It can't be just left to the strikers. Fully expect Clarke and Rusyn to get more than 10. Ekwah will chip in too. I don't know much about Burstow, but his reputation is good and I hope he lives up to it.

I hope we see the little wizard back in January and feel that we might sign Aravena then, as a possible replacement for Clarke, if we don't go up. Both of these have good goalscoring pedigree.

The futures bright, the futures red and white!

Amad scored 13 I think, which I’d say isn’t really anything to shout about to be fair but Gyokores only got 17 the season before and he’s a striker.. Diallos overall play was immense.
