Looks like we're about to get him at norwich, I'm personally very happy as I rate him very highly as a manager.

What are your opinions guys? I think if he can get a tune out of Andy Carroll AND beat Villa 6-0 he's got to be worth a punt!

Great manager for you, I reckon you'll become established as a Prem team with him in charge.

Tbis season, stabilise you about where you finished last season: 8 - 12. It will be a hard ask to move above 8th this year.

Thereafter, steady improvement. You can have absolute faith in his honesty and commitment, and quite a lot of faith in his ability.

I truely believe Norwich will suit him down to the ground. Good honest manager who will get a great reception when he brings you up to the Toon.

Norwich will suit him. He can work with Holt and Morisson and get the best from Hoolahan

He's a great man from anyone who's met him. You can be proud of him as manager of your club. Been in football a long time! Knows how to get a real team spirit in the squad and as people say will continue to get the best out of Holt. Looking forward to welcoming him back at SJP.

One thing you need not worry about is having to defend him for his latest media gaff, he is as diplomatic as they come. He carries himself with dignity and encourages respectful behaviour from his players.

I think his only weakness is possibly that he's too much of a 'nice guy', that he lacks a killer edge. That said, he will run your club in a stable manner and so long as you get behind him, I see him happily staying with you for a long time.

Great appointment and I think this means you'll be the 'second club' of many Newcastle fans now. <ok>

Great bloke, top coach and a true gent.

He was a little naive tactics wise at times, but you could tell as the games went by he was learning more and more and making less mistakes.

I have no doubt he will do everything in his power to make his time with you a success and I can't wait till he brings your team to SJP so we can give him the reception he deserves.

Great manager, great man, as someone said u will be my 2nd team next season.

This said though i saw a statistic saying he only won 25% of his premiership games with us, so hopefully he can improve on that with you guys, best of luck for next season.

I wish Chris all the best in his new job. I'm still seething over his dismissal, despite the passage of time.

It's good to see he'll be working with a decent chairman after having to put up with Llambias and that idiot at Birmingham.

I'll certainly be looking out for Norwich's results next season.

That's always been the way, they wouldn't expect or want anything less. They know it's a sign of affection.

Already commented on the other thread with lots of sycophantic praise, but I'll keep it short and sweet on here...

Love him, as far as I know Birmingham fans love him, and I expect that you'll all love him as well!

WARNING: If you abuse him I will set Tash and MrTiote on you!

Long for those days again instead of mindless booing of anybody who leaves regardless of service. Sir Les got the good treatment. He laughed his socks and noted afterwards it summed up the supports humour and why he'd enjoyed his time so much. Now some just boo regardless and can't seem to accept that transfer are part of football.
