I know what you mean. I've been supporting Saints since 1978 when I was 7 after we had been promoted so this is my first promotion in 33 years! We were talking about this at work and could only think of one English side to go longer without a promotion (won't tell you the answer although there probably is more than one as it is an annoying quiz question!)
Well said mate. We should sing it loud and proud Saturday. Also a shout out for cortese next sat. Remember we booed him at jpt final and it's about time we showed some appreciation. Without him their would never have been Marcus or Nigel..... He deserves some credit
Well done the Saints.....even I'm going to say it now........were in the championship next year. Most definitely a shout for Cortese this Saturday. Incidentally this is my 4th promotion after a total of 3 demotions. What a party it will be......bring on Walsall on Saturday. Someone said some fans were being ejected from the Plymouth game .......any update on this...... COYS
We had sky sports news on and it looked like a few saints fans that had been in the home end ran across the pitch, i dunno if this is the ones you've heard of.
Apparently when the first goal went in some Plymouth fans got upset by Saints fans and the police had to go in. And again after the 2nd goal. Can't blame the Plymouth fans..we wouldn't like it either if the boot was on the other foot.
I had that on too whilst listening to solent, it did make me laugh! There were a couple of guys who found themselves in the middle of the pitch shaking hands with all the managers and staff and things and no security seemed to notice... all of them were too busy down our end I guess
