Every time a team wants to sack the manager they usually look at the old guard of Pardew, Pullis, Big Sam, Moyes, Hodgson, Warnok and used to be Harry and the useless git from Charlton who did fk all everywhere else but got loads of gigs on telly and even talked about for the England job. Look at Pardew people, about to lose his job within weeks of getting it Coleman I LMFAO when he got the Sunderland gig. So he left an easy Wales gig and now going to be unemployed again. Who in your view are worth it. Pullis and big Sam deffo, but a new breed of manager are now the best peeps for me, and should have been given the England job but overlooked for that useless git Who made England into the most boring useless team ever, Southgate. Dyche, Houghton, Howe all deserve a chance and lets hope a certain Paul H makes it into that bracket. Anyone else deserve a chance
Heard tv mention Steve Evans doing well at Mansfield, think he would have got us up,if we had kept him.
Those mentioned are probably all decent managers but you can’t compete when other are spending big, take both Manchester’s and Chelsea, you don’t need to be a skilful coach to run those clubs. Who couldn’t walk in and win games when you have open cheque books like that. The game is now ruined, it’s all down to who has the most money and a splash of luck. Personally I can’t stand Southgate and I don’t rate him, Those “go to” managers might never win you much but they know how to pick a team that will grind out points at the end of a season. Their style effing and jeffing is great for old fashion UK players but not a continental player who would vanish sulking in his private villa by the pool until his agent sorted something out for him. Redknapp On “A League Of their Own” virtually said as much one episode stating how much the role of a manager has changed.
