May i ask who you want to manage the club if he went? is getting to an facup final for the first time in the clubs history not good enough? or maybe getting the to the last 32 in europe also not good enough, not to mention not losing at home to the so called big 6, so lets sack him and do a charlton.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, and where have you sprung from?

As a matter of (not much) interest, what other user names have you posted under? As I certainly do not recognise your current moniker.

    Rotter,
Fact - stoke city have not beaten any team that was above them in the Premier League (at the time the Cup Game was played) in the last two years. The first time we met teams above us we lost (Man C and Liverpool).
Last year was great, but featured home games against two sides from outside our division, a game against a team that was second off bottom, and our away game was against a team fourth off bottom. This year we were away in every round but against teams that we should have beaten, and I include Liverpool in that. Europe? TP obviously thought it was such a difficulyt standard that he usually played ateam that did not feature in the Premier League (Arisamendi, Pugh, Jones, Jerome, Woodgate, Upson etc etc.) In getting to the cup final with the draw we had, TP did OK - but if we had lost any of those games prior to the semi final, we would have had every reason to groan about him.
Consider this - in 4 years in the Premier League we have scored 3 goals awy from home once - even Burnley, Blackpool, Wolves Blackburn, Wigan , QPR, Norwich and Swansea have managed that in one year in the Prem. If Pulis had any idea at all Stoke would sit between 8th and 12th (where we may even end up this year), but it would be a damn sight better to watch.
I'd even give you a chance at managing the team instead of the prehistoric approach TP adopts to games.

  5. Well we are being negative at present aren't we!

As I have said we have had 'highlights' and 'dross' this season. I saw TP on MOTD and he managed a 'programme' for the club. I would like to know what it is as I do think that wnever we are away he talks the opposition up. IMHO TP ought to talk his team up.

We still have a long way to go to move forward from where we are today but again I have stated that TP has done really well but I do question whether he can take us any further.

All I know is that I will support any team he puts out even if it is a team with 7 centre backs!

I went past your stadium on the train last month and I thought it looked a bit delapidated.

It's seem's from your'e post that you we're at WEMBLEY last season but.. have you actually taken any notice of our HOME games or are the rest of us just THICK on here. You know as well as we do, it's not good enough. YES we will stay up but it's sheeite too watch more often than not.

New Manager? Sure I would like to see anyother guy in charge but like Cris I will support the TEAM whatever happens. Does that mean we can't COMPLAIN if we don't like what we're watching? We luckily beat SPURS, as for the rest of the top sides fair enough.. but we didn't beat them because Pulis is scared to WIN. Too negative, wrong team half the time.. so yeah I'm hacked off with him because he BORES me stupid.

    Cris,
Too right about Pulis, he worries MORE about the opposition than his own team.

    Rotter???

I effin said it before PULIS SHOULD EFF OFF NOW. Why does he take off Fuller and Jerome BECAUSE HE IS BOTH AN IDIOT AND TOO NEGATIVE..

Say something that proves ME WRONG. We we're doing OK and comfortable.

HE just INVITED PRESSURE and what's f******* happened we're losing AGAIN.

I though it was a strange line up in the first place - 4 strikers and 3 CB's?

I don't know that much about tacktics BUT i do know we had more chance of NOT losing with Fuller and Jerome ON the PITCH. Once they were taken off we we're asking for it and we got it, SAT BACK and it was inevitable QPR would score. We had NO OUTLET whatsoever and even an idiot like Pulis knows it.

Next week v Bolton? NOW watch us throw that game away too! So sorry for the Stoke fans who went too the game.. HOW many times have I said that before.
PULIS you should have GONE for the WIN.. it's obvious you did NOT by subbing TWO STRIKERS.

A strange lineup, but still strong, and capable of winning, had we carried on attacking for the whole game.

Oh, and why all the hate towards out newest member? We've already had one that was pretty much badgered into leaving. We all support the same team you know, no need t be so elitist.

I don't think taking Jerome and Fuller off was a bad decision, but bringing Whitehead on was, we swapped one striker for another, but I think Matty should have come on, that would have given is more of an outlet.
