So a racism ban and fine for De Gea then?

Because playful remarks from your friends are exactly the same as one from your bitter rivals.

Also show me where you heard this.

Don't bother, he clearly doesn't understand context

It was mentioned all over the place in the weeks after this saga began.

Its easy to assume that if you see some one using these 'playful remarks' that its no big issue if you say it to. Especially if you have a slight language barrier.

And also a ban for every player who has ever sworn in a match ever? After all, they banned Rooney for swearing...or was the context different then?

I agree that context plays a part, as well as intent. But we don't fully know yet whether it was said playfully by Suarez (in a 'calm down mate' kind of way.) I know it's unlikely considering the circumstance, but not entirely impossible. This again would rest on Evra's interpretation of the term.

Question - If de Gea got pissed off at Evra for a defensive error and used the word to rebuke him, would Evra report him knowing that an 8 match ban would be the likely punishment?

p.s - I realise you can't answer that question, but it's something to think about.

At the end of the day, that's an internal issue and would be dealt with by the club not by the FA.

What I should have said then, was would he report in to Canal + or whoever in the way he did with this case?

Hey lets not pick holes in this; a ban for De Gea mite do us some good at least if he isn't playing his mistakes can't cost us lol (and before people get up in arms this is a joke i no he has improved vastly since those early games although mistakes in the last two CL group games havent helped)

Liverpool need to play all their kids from the Academy against City, as a protest against the Ferguson association. The Alpha and Omega about this, ever since Ferguson took Evra to see a bemused referee AFTER the game in which Evra never once complained about Suarez - who he himself had racially abused) is that Suarez had to be nobbled. United would have done precisely the same to Torres a few years back when he was good given half a chance, and God help Silva, Nasri, Mata, Bale or Neyamar, if Chesea sign him, now United have found a device and a compliant FA to do their bidding.

And WHAT a precedent - Evra viciously insulted Suarez in Spanish about his nationality and ethnicity before Suarez responded, but because Evra felt the colour of his skin was referred to, he was the only one racially abused! So, the only racial insult can be white to black, and only if it refers to skin colour? Why doesn't the FA just ask that white, Scottish, drunk-driving, agent-conspiring, crooked turd Ferguson to give a list of the players he wants out of the way and have done with it?

Liverpool accusing Evra with what he allegedly said according to some red top paper WITH NO PROOF. If he had said that, it would have been in the Ref’s report and used as a part of Suarez’s defense. So, until you can prove it, stop spouting unsubstantiated crap.

Evra did not racially abuse Suarez (unless you can provide evidence to the contrary). Suarez has AMMITED to calling Evra something that could be taken as racial abuse. You Liverpool fans are spouting ****. Either show us proof or shut the **** up. At least he didn't get a 8 month ban for missing a drug test even when he went on to prove he had no drugs in his system unlike 2 city players who got off much lightly than him (one for missing it the other for failing it for taking his wife's diet pills).

Until you can provide some sort of evidence to back up your claims you are spouting ****.

I suggest you actually read Liverpool FC's response wherein they state that Evra admitted to making the remarks even though they were not heard by Suarez. Now I have not seen the evidence but LFC's representatives have so are you saying that they are lying?

When you actually learn to read then come back and make you insulting claims - dickhead!!
