There was a match, a couple of seasons back or so, between Ipswich v Leicester (back when Roy Keane was manager) and the pitch literally looked like that. It was insane for nowadays, really seemed to be like the matches of old. And a 2-2 draw away to Barnsley, not a bad result I guess.

Postponement must be like torture, Can't you just give the other teams 3pts when postponed ? Especially as the team getting readied for the game won't even be there on the rearranged fixture.
Talking of postponements, did you know Portsmouth Ladies have only played 3(!!) games since the beginning of November due to postponements. Only one of those is in the league, one is in the league cup and one in the Hampshire cup.
That sounds like a good idea for Saints as well, SP. Now Adkins has gone, you've got a bollocks manager who knows nothing .. .. oh wait- I'm sure he's an expert at managing Saints. I mean if a manager has been "researching for weeks" he must know everything! He can't keep Espanyol in La Liga, when every team in the whole division (bar Barca and Madrid of course ) are just so bad it's unreal. Maybe he'll be more than a one-trick pony, and relegate Southampton as well as Espanyol ?? Seems very, very likely right now

Yeah did not want it personally because if it is still around on Wednesday College may be shut which means doing the work at home which is harder than it seems.
It's still snowing quite heavily as well- I can't really go anywhere today all of the tube is down, and most buses are either delayed/cancelled .. Car's too expensive to run for me .. it spends most of its time parked out on the road
It's my consolation prize for not being able to go skiing in Austria this year. And I'm quite happy to sit in, with my bottles of Gluwein, and watch it come down.
My college is shut but I am only in Wednesday Thursday Friday as you do three days a week, hopefully it will be open by Wednesday.
