The guy who's at every game wearing his old Coventry shirts must have a good job. He manages to get tickets every year ,just like the queen at the cup final. He's wearing the Talbot cars shirt that the BBC banned back in the day. Wonder what he does for a living.
I was at the final last year, I never bought them as it was my 40th Birthday and my dads 60th on the 1st May so they were presents but from memory the first 3 sessions were £50 each and the last was £60, for earlier rounds i havnt a clue but its not really the cost its the chance of getting them, it only holds about 900 people per session, so if you want them you have to be fast off the mark, especially for the later rounds.
there is a total of 46 sessions he can go to (there are more but the table is split in the early rounds so he cant do/pay for both of those), even at £50 a session (which it wont be) its £2,300 You would spend more than that going to Florida for 2 weeks. I couldnt/wouldnt do it, but its not "that" expensive really.
So if i have the choice of watching snooker for a fortnight , or a holiday in Florida Hhhhmmmmmmmmmmm She'd cut my balls off if I chose the snooker
