Just seen a tweet from Burnsy! @bbcburnsy: For all those @hullcity fans asking, Steve Bruce tells @RadioHumberside Robert Snodgrass is "still a long way off". #hcafc WTF?
I don't know what 'still a long way off' means, but he wasn't expected back until the end of October anyway.
Listening to the interview with David Burns it really sounded as if there was little chance of Snodgrass being fit during October - he wouldn't predict a date but, reading between the lines, it sounded as if it could well be much later in the season.
I never understood the signing of him in the first place TBH, hopefully he'll show me what it is that he does soon, but at this rate he'll be in the last year of his contract before he's even played a game.
He's an excellent player, but Bruce will just mess about using him in centre midfield when he's fit anyway.
He's finished as a player. He'll collect his wages until the end of his contract and then he'll retire.
What's his position? I hear he's a left or right winger, which surprised me as we were playing with wing backs when we signed him, then since, I've read he plays in behind the front 2.
