Just heard a snippet on radio 5live that his comments on twitter after the ****tenburg show could land him in trouble? WTF? He's only saying what everyone else (except Dion Dublin on MOTD) was saying about a hopelessly inept and inadequate performance from yesterday's match officials!
honestly, after what ferguson got away with last week, if snoddy gets in trouble for that then we may as well give up on football
As much as I agree with the inept performance of Clattenburg, players cannot take to Twitter etc lambasting the officials. When are they going to understand that the FA will always back their own.
seriously, he has not 'lambasted' the referee at all. he's had a 'little dig', then moved on. nothing more, nothing less. some people will jump on anything... its pathetic
check out any footballers twitter account and see what they write about referees and then tell me that snodgrass should be in any kind of trouble for posting that. lets face it - he was very lenient!
What's happened to this respect thing? No-one honestly thinks refs deliberately make bad decisions in this country do they? It's bang out of order. Fergie should've been given a touchline ban. As for Snodgrass, it's not nearly as bad as slagging off your own fans on twitter a la Chopra and JET but there's just no need. It was a stupid and inappropriate comment and he should be fined.
Why would I be interested in what players "tweet" about. Most of them still struggle with light switches. You know the old saying "If you can't abide by the rules, don't join"
I think Johnson may have been fined by the club alone for the 'Barton your breath stinks' photo and was ignored by the FA. How's the Snodgrass tweet any worse?
how the hell is it a side-step? my point is that the fa should not be involved or take action. the club can fine him a couple of hundred quid for that sort of thing.
what on earth are you talking about? have you been at the loopy juice or something??? either i've gone completely mad or you've totally misunderstood what is going on here. my point is that the fa should not be involved in this because what he has said is laughably feeble. the club, if they wish, can fine him because it is technically a little dig at the official which isn't what we want. is it really that difficult to understand???
