Sorry Superhoops, It is not snobbery, JUST good taste! I used to go to Royal Ascot for many years when I was in business and noted how it was being taken over by riff-raff. So it is a good thing Ascot are trying to put things right now!

 

I don't like horse racing or horsey upper class types but... anyone who has ever been to Epsom on Derby Day will know just how awful things can become when Sun readers decide to have a day out at the races. If it needs a dress code to prevent that happening elsewhere then so be it.
