Off Topic How Are You Celebrating Brexit Day ?

Ibiza is quite a popular place for boxers to train.....Nigel Benn for one often went there.
The reason being there are several remote properties they can rent where they can set up a training camp for high altitude training.....together with quiet back roads and tracks suitable for endurance running.
To say nothing of the advantageous weather conditions.

 

They were 48hr trips though, and he was openly gloating that he could make them as he was so confident. He learnt zero from the first fight.

He didn’t play for the under 23’s - that’s two in a row he’s missed, which suggests there must be an issue.

 

Fair play to him. He was awful when he was with us, as you say - but he seems to work hell of a lot harder these days. Remember him being particularly bad at sheff weds away.

 

That makes it even more of a puzzle that Meire hasn’t signed him - she has a penchant for unfit crocks.

I wonder if they were concerned about Best and Mag being too similar. We need best as we need bodies, but we don’t necessarily need this type of striker.
