No mate - send over what he’s sent (with name) and I’ll look in to it. We all know Glasgow is blue anyway
Dad supports them, though he’s been to more rangers games the last few years. About 75% of the family are Celtic. I’ve always preferred rangers. Probably from when Gazza went there, and was a fan of Mcoist.
I'm not an Old Firm fan. The religious aspect of it is a cancer on Scottish football. I liked Celtic when Jock Stein was there, mostly because of the brand of football they played, but also because Stein broke the religious barriers. Graeme Souness tried to do the same at Rangers, but old loyalties die hard, and the fan base is still divided on religious grounds. Stein was treated shamefully by Celtic in later life, almost definitely because he was a protestant.
Hard to disagree with any of that mate. I think that was why my old man strayed slightly away from either side, though he clearly has some affection towards to the blue side. It’s madness that in this day and age religion can have such a stronghold on one fixture. Neil Lennon was sent bullets if memory serves.
dunno if anyone here follows boxing, but looks like David Haye has pulled out of his rematch with that twat bellew. I'm a big DH fan, but i think it's now time for him to call it a day. getting fed up for fights to be signed and then cancelled last minute. it just makes it look like he bottles it and cancels rather than show up. annoying thing is he could still be a world champ if he could get himself in the ring.
Used to be a fan of Haye but he’s a fraud. Hasn’t got the heart to train for 3-4 months solid. Hasn’t got the discipline to stay out of the limelight. No longer has the talent to get anywhere near a world title. He’s made a mockery of boxing for too many years now.
Wasn't that why he had to call time on his international career with N. ireland? The hard-liners didn't like having a Celtic player in their team, if I remember rightly. There was a story when Souness was manager that one Rangers player complained that he was the one who always got stopped going through customs because he was black. Another Rangers player said "It's not that, it's because you're a Catholic".
Something doesn’t sit right with me. There were rumours from 2-3 weeks back that he was preparing to pull out. He’s also made several trips to Ibiza recently. What’s worse is one of the websites are refusing to refund money.
