A Sunderland fan called smuginantibes has deliberately targeted CTWD and the part of our campaign that asks opposing fans to respect us singing City Till I Die at 19:04.

As he said he deliberately targeted our Southhampton thread about the song, as he wrote

" Absolutely pathetic tbh and it was me that got it locked.

You can thanks the **** Hull fans, including your sad mod DMD or whatever he's called, for that.

They've been all over this board insulting people and thinking how ****ing clever they are.

I warned them that I'd take my revenge and they laughed, which was fair enough, but you're now reaping the reward.

I'll now continue with my 'pathetic' campaign unti you ****ing squeal, just as I said I would.

    Any other questions?"

Obi, the guy is a spoiled child, he abuses his fellow fans as well as others because he can't join in debate and doesn't like being ignored.

He'll be loving this attention. A big part of the problem is, for some reason, the mods on there haven't slapped his legs and mods on other boards know it's short lived so just ignore him, so he's got away with it. With this being a more active board, he hasn't had the easy ride he's used to and his teddy's gone right in the corner because of it.

I'll post a message on the mods board asking other mods to watch out for him spoiling your threads. In my view he breaches the board rules on most days, and he certainly wouldn't behave as he does if he was on here.

Its ok for "our" morons to act like that on other forums, then when they get banned, our mods get them unbanned. Simple answer woulda been to ban him from our forum.

As we keep being reminded on this very forum, these are open forums and as we've seen, literally anything is acceptable on here. Rules? give me a break, the only times anything happens to a thread/poster is if DMD or PetuLanT get all hissy and start cutting posts out to give us all an internet show of strength.

The internet isn't all hugs and cuddles. This site even less so. Get used to it.

He's a ******ed punch drunk bouncer, deranged yet simple, sits at his computer wearing a Batman mask & cape, aka "The Not606 Caped Avenger" He masterbates at every opportunity, was bullied at school, his wife left him for a woman & he thinks he's at school because he's on a register.

His sidekick, who he met at "registration" & is always dedicated, unreliable, flaccid & limp is "Bri's Meagre Phallus" He gave up a successful carear as a lollipop man, (he'd almost advanced to A roads) to assist The Avenger in promoting ****meffery & ****tardary across the Not606 community.

So far they've built a small network of ****meffs & ****tards on the Scumberland board but they're hell bent on spreading the word further. Always leading by example.

PM the mods. If they persist for future games PM the MODs of the individual boards, they'll soon be dealt with.

Try to pity them, they're sad people.

As you've chosen to ignore in the past when it's been explained, most moderation goes on quietly in the background. Doing it all up front would leave the board looking over moderated. The odd time I've rejigged a thread was because someone was drifting a decent thread by posting off topic nonsense on it. At that point I could close or delete the thread, delete the comments or do nothing. I chose the option of moving the nonsense to it's own thread where people could carry on that discussion. Nothing to do with power, simply what I felt to be a solution to enable everyone to talk about something they wanted to.

If you've an issue with a post, simply PM one of us.

    Dunno which is worse.

Posters from other clubs that appear on our board like a rash, or posts like the above, trying to get in as many referrals to winkies, bottoms, body fluids etc etc etc, or mods entering into the fray as well.

Either 1) ignore them. 2) Mods ban them when it's clear the intention is simply to disrupt.

DMD - just ****ing slap a ban on them immediately. They'll go away quicker than they appeared if you did.

Mr Hat was banned from the Sunderland board and remains banned. I don't give a **** about that he probably deserved it. But he didn need banning from the whole site and we didn't need to lose a good poster on here because of it.

We hardly ever ban people from our board.

If he's not posting on here, it'd be a pre-emptive ban and hard to justify as he just gets ripped a new arsehole if he tries it on here, so hardly disruptive. Also, banning him off this board would just make him hurl his teddy around on other forums.

I can't get him banned off other boards. Given some of the comments he's made and actions, not just for us but other teams including Sunderland, I reckon there's a case for a site ban, but I doubt they'd go for it.

    This is worse

Disrupting a thread on the Saints board regarding the campaign which included an explanation to why we'll be singing "City 'til I die" at 19:04 to such an extent that it was closed.

The man's a dick, cock, arsehole, bottom burp, spunk guzzler, ****, fanny, minge, prick, ass (agro backlash expected), bum tickler, bayonet, hairy hotdog, one eyed yoghurt gun, adam's cave, fish tank, gash, furbox, tea towel holder, chocolate starfish, bung hole, poop chute & a fudge tunnel.

    Moderation or policing?

Moderation is never going to suit everyone. It relies on opinion and is reflective of a mods views, who in return should reflect the views of the board. Mr Hat and Erik, just as examples and not having a go, would be banned from some boards, but they are accepted to a degree on others.
Policing would simply close down threads for minor infringements of the rules. One mistake and you are punished would not work well on here.

Are you calling me a moron? Happy Tiger was clearly on about someone else. I don't know who's been acting like that on other forums but it most certainly wasn't me.

There are a couple of problems with the discrete moderation we try to apply, one is people don't see it happening so think anything goes, the other is that it limits the times people think about moderation, so there isn't much feedback to say if we're getting it right or wrong. Often, by the time it is discussed it's about one specific emotive incident. Generally though, users police themselves and each other really well.

It's not our board it belongs to all users, and we certainly don't wield power. We try to keep the board tidy and make a few tweaks to keep discussion going. We're second to Newcastle in the number of replies on the network, so I'm hoping we're doing something right. I also hope people will say if we're not.

The interaction on the Sunnyland forum has been pretty similar to last year with Lester(2 big clubs).Andy King is now a regular on our site and I won best newcomer/C of the year on one of theirs.
It would appear that smuggles cannot tell the difference between a wind up and someone genuinely looking to upset rival fans.
I personally like the "insults" thrown my way-they are the least I deserve.
If I had taken the huff as easily as he has I think I may have been de bagged and publically humiliated by my workmates more often
