Did you enjoy your trip to Glesgae? Just found this, might be worth a read before you next go up there. http://www.vice.com/read/the-vice-g...=Outbrain&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Blogrss
It was excellent mate, I'm just on me way out but I'll see you later Good advice btw, went to all 3 grounds.
I was in Glasgow for a Scotland v England game at Hampden Park in the 1980's, and I have to say it wasn't the most friendliest places to be as an England fan...
Cheers, we had a great time and went to all three grounds. The groundsman was cutting the grass, at Ibrox, prior to their match with Hibs and let us have a look inside. We had a look down Govan and ended up taking the subway across the Clyde to Kelvinhall ..... there was a sign saying 'Dogs must be carried!' What a f**ing stupid system, it took me 10 minutes to find one Ended up having a drink in a Three Judges on Dumbarton Road with some Partick fans and a couple of Celtic, like you say, really good crack.
Glasgow reminded me of Sunderland TBH ....... great people who've seen the reason for the growth of their city taken away. Huge shipyards standing idle while the 'workforce' sit in call centres advising their neighbours on the best way out of crushing debt. I'm a hard-hearted bastard but it really touched me.
