I for one would welcome the return of the above.... Providing their wages are VERY realistic and we do not expect to get more than 20 apperances from Woody then what they would add at Thorpe Arch/The dressing room does have to be taken into account. Playing devils advocate I wouldnt want to see them return if it meant us missing out on young proven talent a la Nugent or Macail-Smith (unlikely i know but I couldnt think of better examples!!).
We already have a lengthy Smith thread, so let's keep it to Woodgate here. I'm don't want him back. Even on pay as you play he'll want too much. We already have a semi-crocked leader figure in Kisnorbo anyway, surely his backup/clone should be capable of playing 40 games for us, not 20.
Smith - Its all been said. Woody - I think he'd be a massive risk and certainly not the footballer he was.
http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....nited_woodgate_back_on_whites_radar_1_3489092 He's miles better than any of our defenders at the moment, but his fitness would be a worry. Could we count on him to play even half the games? Along with Kisnorbo's fitness, it might not be a good idea to have two injury-prone defenders, regardless of how talented he is.
Judas can go stab himself in the face, Woody as above, too injury prone along with Paddy (and fooking O'Brien...!>*&^*).
Can we have an end to these treads for good please. Both players are has beens, one of them a crocker has been. This tuff has been done to death. We don't need Bowyer either
