There. I said it. In 3 minutes he tried several good-looking through balls. He didn't break anyone's legs. His hair was ****ing woeful. Gave the defence an earful. Perhaps not as bad as everybody's been expecting?

Well he's probably playing in the next game so we may as well get behind him.

    Go Smith! NUFC legend!

I don't see why 5 Goals? I'm disappointed to lose obviously, but we played well and if we had Taylor and Colo we would have won today!

I'm just extremely disappointed that had Pardew made the right subs we could have gotten something from the game. Imagine Ben Arfa running at their defence who couldn't even handle Ba's trickery how were they going to handle Ben Arfa's?

If Pardew had put Ben Arfa on for Shola then we might of lost 4-1, we might of lost 5-1 or won 3-4. No point in playing hindsight substitutions.

Benny has clearly done something in private that Pardew was unhappy with.
    Possibly a bust-up with Best.

I cannot see any other reason why neither of them went on the pitch today.

There we go. You have to take risks , it's common sense really...

Like when you're losing 2-1 and your send your goalie up for the corner , you risk losing 3-1 but there's a decent chance you'll equalise.

He did take a risk today. He kept both strikers on and two wingers on when we had 10 men and it almost came off after we got one back. The only thing he should have done was take off Obertan for HBA.

Should have taken the ineffective Shola off and replaced him with HBA. He was ****.

Ben Arfa isn't a winger , think his most effective position is in the hole.

Ben Arfa hasn't exactly shown much trickery this season so it's laughable to suggest he'd have changed things.

Get rid?? .. After 12 or so appearences? .. Is that how it works like.. the first few appearences of a player, or if they are maybe under performing, determine their future at a club

So when Spurs were bottom of the league they should of sold all their players because they where playing ****? .. No because they where just low on confidence

I presume Magpie Fozz was being sarcastic. Although that can be hard to convey over the internet. There needs to be some kind of sarcasm font or something.

I've also seen a few people suggesting Dan Gosling should never pull a Newcastle shirt on again, despite looking pretty decent up to setting up the third goal and a red card. Some people are idiots, I just learn to filter it out.
