The last time that Leicester smashed their record transfer fee barrier we were at the time on the crest of a wave , this time seems to be different we are still paddling to get to the crest of the wave, does anybody think that we will ever be able to get back to the peak that we were in the late 90's/early 00's under MON, I certainly hope so. I must admit after the sparse years that have fallen on us firstly administration then Mandaric ( I won't here a word against him because whatever gripes we have he saved the club and gave us Top) I am overwhelmed with all the cash being splashed at the moment, who thought that we would ever spend £5M again, let alone on a defender, 'the times are a changin' and for the better, Come on the Foxes!!!!!!!!
We have only paid 4.5M for Matt Mills so far so as thinks stand Ade Akinbadbuy is still our record signing. When we get promoted we will owe Reading 1M which will then makes Mills the record signing. But we will probaly break tge record again when we go up
