Hull City head coach Leonid Slutsky is ready to strengthen his backroom team after offering a deal to make Oleg Yarovinsky his new assistant... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/leonid-slutsky-moves-strengthen-hull-608179
**** reporting and no new news? -> No contract has yet been signed with City but reports in Russia have suggested a deal is considered a formality once a work permit is granted This is pretty much the same as was 'reported' many weeks ago. How about telling us what the actual status and expectation is? Would seem like good news though if / when it finally happens. Needed, and long overdue.
It's that no contract has yet been signed with City, but reports in Russia have suggested a deal is considered a formality once a work permit is granted. Hope this helps.
Not meaning to be funny / smart arse, but that's pretty much exactly what was said weeks ago. Question wasn't aimed at you either. But I'm left wondering, ok what has changed? What's the expected timeline? What's the status of the permit application? Etc. You know, just basic info, obvious questions like.
I'm sure they'll ask at this weeks press conference, but until then, nobody at the club speaks to them and they're having to just report a story from Russia.
The Allams don't speak to them, but is that really true? If so, it's beyond ridiculous (infantile, insulting, unacceptable, ....). Honest question.
Have you ever seen a single quote or statement from our Communications Manager? The bloke's a mute, there's been no communication since Mooney left. The HDM and RH are given access to Slutsky and a player at the weekly press conference (along with everyone else) and immediately after a game, outside of that they get nothing.
Probably not so much that he's a mute, but that he (and the rest) are under instructions from the Allams. It's absolutely pathetic, shameful, undefendable. They are first class ****s (and I hate using that word, but can't think of anything more appropriate when it comes to the Allams and 'our' club).
Back to the OP. This will hopefully be good news and should give Slutsky more time to concentrate on improving results.
Isn't this the fella that was pictured at Brough train station recently? He must have been here a while and obviously involved in some capacity, just not official and pitch side.
Agreed. But is it to do with a work permit. It's obviously the bloke slutsky wants. So maybe he's been prepared to wait.
I read that Slutsky wasn't moving his family here until 6 months had passed, maybe that was his trial time essentially. Maybe Escab said you can't have an Assistant until were sure you're right for the job to save paying off two people if it went pear shaped.
