His interview after the Boro game was him asking for the sack, todays interview he even gave reasons for the sack
The Allan's will love it if the fans get on the managers back and make him walk, I think that's what they are waiting for so they don't have to pay him off
I have mixed feelings on this as it clearly isn't working with sluts. If he walks then the Allams save a fortune in compensation If he stays there is a good chance we go further down. If they sack him it cost them thousands win win But, if they sack him they will stay longer to recoup their money Enjoy your Sunday people
I think he's absolutely right, our spirit and mentality is clearly just not there. But that's his job, and in fairness he accepts that. When people say "Isn't it the players' fault?" Yes of course it is, but they are responsible to the manager and he is responsible for making them play well. If they don't then the buck stops with him, mitigating factors aside. I think our squad is seriously unbalanced with a real lack of quality at the back. Overall that means it's not good enough for promotion, but it should probably be mid-table at worst if the players were performing optimally. Ultimately I think a change of manager will improve us when it comes. But to get promoted we'll need to sign players.
He accepted the players he got to work with, same as Silva last year. Neither lot of players were/are good enough.
Maybe it'll have a positive effect but once a manager starts blaming the players in public things usually only get worse. At least he hasn't named individuals.
