So got myself a slow cooker on Friday. Even bought a recipe book as well. Can bang it on in the morning and have it for tea. Well sorted. Any advice for a slow cooking virgin?

Went back to the docs as well on Friday and have been referred to a phsiotherapist. I hope she has nice jugs and wears a lovely wee white uniform. I'm tempted to tell her it's my groin that's hurting. Won't cure the hand/elbow/shoulder/neck pain but it will take my mind off it for an hour.

Lamb shanks for the slow cooker<ok>

I went to see my doctor this morning.

"How can I help you?" she asked.

"I found a lump while I was in the bath," I replied, pointing downwards.

"Oh right," she said, "Take your trousers down for me."

After having a good old feel of my bollocks for a few minutes, she said, "I can't feel a lump."

I said, "It's on my toe."

Lamb Shank is one of the recipes in the book. Love Lamb Shank.

I remember the second time I was in hospital at Stracathro, there was a young nurse there (probably like myself 19 at the time) and she was absolutely stunning. There is something about a nurses uniform that does it for us blokes. I was incapacitated so she did a few things for me. Wonderful body, stunning looking and shortish jet black hair. Ah what if....................

It's like the sandwich toaster, a novelty.

You'll get fed up with it after a week.

I was thinking of adding some of my jizz to spice up the cheese on toast.

In our house, we use the slow cooker roughly three times a week. I make a mean beef casserole: 800g of stewing beef, two tins of chopped tomatoes, Worcester Sauce (loads of), random herbs and spices, diced onion, button mushrooms - dumplings in for the last hour - serve with crusty bread. Handsome!

I had a diabetic hypo yesterday. It was fookin' awful. One minute I was playing Total War II, the next I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I had to be force-fed three Curly-Wurlys before I felt any better. My BSM was 2.1 before having the chocolate.

don't worry about him mate, he is just jealous because he hasn't won winner of the week yet, whereas I'm not jealous, as I know I will win it in the next few weeks. Either that, or Jip is getting one almighty boot in his baws.
