Am I the only worried that with less than 2 weeks till the season we are still light on player with only about 19 squad player . In my opinion we need a Goalkeeper defender midfielder I am sure MA and Scally are sorting it but just slightly worried
I think it is 18 professionals however with all the younger ones I don't think we should really worry about this. We are likely to sign up Forecast when Lee and Birchall leave and even though that will leave us with only 17 professionals even after Forecast joins I think we may then see one more come in permanently and also a player on loan so I am not worried as I think we will bring in another midfielder and defender as well as Forecast so that will sort out what you have mentioned.
Think it will be a case of bringing in a loan player / players if we need them or we pick up an injury. However I do feel that if Lee goes to Southend and Birchill leaves on loan we might try and sign another player permanently, preferably a midfielder.
