First of all, fair play for today's result. The better side on the day won.

Talking to some of your fans, and you're in a similar position to us and many other teams in having surplus seats and trying to find a way of filling them that doesn't upset pass holders. Our club is offering a discount to anyone buying tickets for the next two games, but I'd like to see them dishing out free/cheap tickets to schools and local football clubs.

I noticed you do something similar in the stand to our right, the one behind the goal, where there seemed to be decent number of school kids and people with special needs.

Is that a regular thing or was it a trial thing for today's game and how much discount do they get?

Do you have an input with the board for such deals and/or any plans for other schemes? We used to have fans reps meeting the board regularly, but this stopped a while back.

    It is the family stand.
£22 for me and my 7 year old is free.
It's the cheapest part of the ground and makes football a bit more afordable for families.
Although I do feel that prices are driving fans away from football

I think i read somewhere that kids from a local charity were given a box to watch the game .. ooh found it

    Ian Stringer ‏@StringerSport
Credit #lcfc - RT @Edgarsgift: Fingers crossed for a win, City have given us box 44 to take some patients along to the game. I love my club

Thats a nice gesture from the club tbh.

As far as other seats go, they did a deal last year when we had loads of home fixtures close together, think it was £50 for 3 games.

I guess that league position will also fill in a couple of thousand, but you could blame the drop yesterday on it being a Sunday fixture.

The crowds have been down all season, 1st home game was only around the 23k mark, that was our average home attendance last yr, then i think both the blackpool and burnly games were around the 18k.
I missed the attendance when announced yesterday, but im pretty sure it wasn't very good, def comes down to one thing and one thing only, money..... people just can't afford the over inflated prices, and in todays currant financial climate, its lifes luxuries that are gonna go 1st, and they don't come much more expensive than football.

The sooner clubs realise this the better, but im not entirely convinced their even that bothered, they prob get more revenue from the tv deals............

Yesterday was 20,800ish, i'd blame it being on TV (though it wasnt) or being a Sunday, but really i think its going to be based on league position, if we hit the playoff places, more fans will turn up, not right, but thats the way it is, and if we get to prem our attendance will prob be nearer 28-30k on average.

Ive only gone to 2 games (Bpool and Hull) this season and watched 3 others on the net and think people that arent going are missing out on some great football, even the away matches we lost have been a great showing by Leicester.

One thing I find really annoying is that the TV camera face the most expensive seats in all of the stadiums.

Why don't clubs put prices down on those seats when game are on TV - then they at least give the impression that the ground is kind of full?

Good stuff for giving the tickets away,

Leeds United used to give 1000 tickets to Leeds Schools, that stopped once Bates came in

2 games this week for a family of 4 would be around 200 quid

Thats nearly the cost of my season ticket

Its a disgrace how much tickets are for football nowadays. Back in League 1 tickets prices was reasonable and everything was alot better. Now there is just people like Bates trying to rip you off left right and centre

My season tickets at City(myself and junior) have just up to £2,160 a year, that's a 50% increase on what I've paid for the past five seasons.

Ridiculous price hike really, it doesn't even include any prawn sandwiches.

Our standard season tickets are £450-500, though there's quite a few concession tickets and an U10's season ticket in the family start works out at a quid a game.

I have a season ticket at Leicester at not to bad a price. Where we have let fans down is we used to have a membership scheme where you become a member at the beginning of the season and would get a discount on purchasing tickets for games, but we have done away with it so ticket sales to non-season ticket holders and casual supporters are suffering.

One doesn't want to be limited to using just one of ones vehicles.

I might lend you one if your Nissan ever breaks down. <ok>

I don't drive. I have chauffeurs for that. One of them is from Hull. I let him polish the Rolls.
