Our man told the local paper, “I’m here, and I like to be here. In my mind, I’m staying here 20 years. In reality, I don’t know what’s going to happen – and I have to accept it.” Link to full story: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fulham-boss-says-wants-like-11214122? The poor chap has probably aged 20 years in the last few months! please log in to view this image Come what may I certainly hope he gets a decent crack at the summer transfer window and then he can be judged on his own terms.
I'd like to see stability in the Fulham management, I want Jokanovic to succeed , but I've not been convinced by Jokanovic in either his tactics, setup or his choice of players. I was hoping when he was appointed that Rigg and Khan had finally got it right, that there was going to be stability and consistency and we'd move up the table, but I haven't seen any improvement. Normally when a new manager comes in there is a boost in performances. Everyone knew why we were losing games because of defensive weaknesses and set pieces. There has to be something going on in the background of the club, whether it is interference, or people are not working together and rifts within players and management. Something doesn't feel right to me.
Yes, give him his chance. One of the many problems over the last three years has been the revolving door on the manager's office. Jokanovic's record with Watford suggests that he's worth a proper chance, not to be sacked after half a season with other managers' signings.
Well he's made his intentions known after today's performance. “I have my plans. I am going to fight for players to stay, I’m going to fight for some players to go out of the club, I’m going to fight to try and build a team that I believe will be more competitive.” Story: http://www.westlondonsport.com/fulh...ins-how-he-plans-to-fix-fulhams-leaky-defence
You've said that before with other managers, kunye, then been calling for their head before the end of September. Why put a date on it? Let's just give him his chance and see how he gets on. What we really need is some stability.
Stability yes,but if we find ourselves at the bottom by my date do we stick with your no revolving door managerial policy
maybe, maybe not. It depends on how we're playing as well as on results. I just don't think sticking an arbitrary deadline on things is helpful, particularly when history shows we don't even stick to them.
