I was waiting for somebody else to post this but ....hey_ho

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/sport...-championship-says-club-chairman-7664967.html

I can see 4/5 coming in of which only 2 in midfield could be starters with another 2/3 coming in as squad members.

My opinion going out would be -
Doc, Sullivan, Alonso, Euell (may stay on as coach?), Mambo, Warren, Popo, Bover, Russell (end loan) and Hayes :)() may keep N'Guessan but can't see us keeping the QPR guy.

This would leave the squad say..?... five down which will be made up by the boys promoted from the U18's - Cousins, Azeez, Osbourne, Harriott, Fox & Ajayi.

There is talk of us forming an U21 team to play Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Fulham etc in which case this may give Mambo, Bover & Popo another 12 months to show what they could do.

<cheers>

The more I hear Mr Slater the more faith I have in him as Chairman.

I agree with him when he says we could compete in the Championship.

I believe that Slaters smart ambition, with Chris Powells growing reputation as a manager, will make us an attractive proposition for the kind of players the club needs to take us forward.

It seems that the second half of last season was spent scouting, and signings were made early doors.

I wonder if this summer will follow a similar pattern?

Nice one AllHell...

I can't find fault with a single word of that. I'm sick to death of the boom and bust culture that's consuming society in general. I'm especially fed up with it at my football club.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey... I’m reasonably confident (you can never be 100% sure) that those at board level have their heads screwed on. They appear to know exactly what needs doing and more importantly still, how it needs to be done...!!

This bright new era might just prove not to be false advertising…
