Just picked up on this, interesting? BBC Sport-Wales: "When I came into the club there was a lot of work that needed to be done. One day I'll maybe tell you everything. Well Well that could be interesting reading, wonder what VT would think of that little slip of the tongue?
Spotted that. An interesting statement. Just re-emphasised that financial mismanagement was afoot, and not just at the MM / OGS level. While we doubted (maybe still do) Slade's footballing powers, there is probably a lot to give him credit for in terms of clearing up the player / financial mess he was handed and in a hurry. With a bit more time he may have made different decisions on players, but applied the 80 / 20 rule as he had to make quick decisions. After his substitution of Ameobi for Jones, he's either leading a charmed life or he is more football savvy than most of us give him credit for. As for the core of the OP, its why they say foreign politics is like oral sex. One slip of the tongue and you're in the ****.
BB, merely responding to Remote's comments: - "As for the core of the OP, its why they say foreign politics is like oral sex. One slip of the tongue and you're in the ****". As for Russ' preferences? That could be a good question for his next press conference.
