Twitter is going rife with rumours that Brussel(s) Slade has been sacked. Originates from CARDs page.

I HOPE this is true. Though fear after the birthday surprise, RD may want revenge. (Considered putting a laughing emoji.. Then realised that it's entirely possible)

Just saw this on CL. Really hoped for more but Slade is as bad as his critics implied, so quite happy to see the back of him, the negative, no-plan git.
    Stability? Wassat then?

I dislike Slade so much that his sacking endears me to RD and KM.

    True story.

KM had probably convinced RD that the (sane) fans were happy flying @16 in L1 with blockbuster crowds of 6,000. Maybe the Belgium trip made him realise that wasn't true.

It goes to show that there is no long term plan though. Roland can change his mind at the drop of a hat - and whilst I back this decision - that's a scary trait to have in an owner.

Slade's still got 3 years on his contract. That's more debt to add on to the £50m or so we owe Roland.

I imagine there were some get out clauses for the club in regards to slades contract. There will be some form of payment but I can't see them paying up 3 years.

I don't see what's to celebrate. The club's in more debt and we'll get another ****e manager. Relegation could be more likely too. The club is such a joke now that the only way to recover is under new owners. This looks like a panic sacking after the protests in Belgium. It might have made Roland realise that his CEO has been telling him a pack of lies. Sue Parkes for CEO??

I'm happy. Slade was possibly my least favourite manager after Fraeye and Pards. He was absolutely useless.

The difference between last season and this is the team is mid table quality. Last season we were patch worked together and nowhere near good enough to stay up.

The extra debt will be nominal. He will probably get the rest of this season paid up, which I can't imagine will be much more than 100k. It will also keep us in the news, and when we inevitable employ one of the losers from his other clubs, he will be mocked even more.

I have a QPR supporting mate who is a ST holder..... he hated Moneybanks as much as we hated Slade.
